The ushers quietly assist the celebrant and other liturgical ministers in the operation of a prayerful experience at the liturgies. Their duties include welcoming parishioners and visitors, collecting stewardship and other offerings, distributing bulletins and other materials, and coordinating a response should an emergency occur.

- Any adult member of the parish - male or female!

Why be an Usher?

 

- Ushering offers you a low key approach to helping the ministry during Mass.

What do Ushers do?

 

- Assist in greeting your fellow parishioners.

- Assist in making the liturgy a warm and prayerful experience.

- Collect the weekly offering.

- Be on call to facilitate the proper response for any emergencies during Mass.

- Be available for distributing any handouts and the weekly bulletin after Mass.

- And many other behind the scene duties.
