TUITION - 2008 - 2009
In today’s Friday Notes is next year’s tuition costs. And yes, those numbers do look familiar to you. Our tuition is NOT going up next year. Because of good stewardship on the part of the school and parish, stable school enrollment and devoted teachers/staff willing to work for less salary than in public schools, tuition costs for next year will remain the same as this year. With the price of everything else going up around us it is a credit to the leaders of our school and parish that our tuition does not have to be raised.

SCOUT NEWS
The 7th grade CADET GIRL SCOUT Troop #336 is working on their Marian Medal. One of the projects is to collect baby items to support mothers who have said yes to life. The Baby Shower Collection starts May 4th May 18. Bins will be located in the Breezeway for donations. Greatly needed supplies are diapers and snap under shirts (no onesies). Other supplies needed are bottles, books, formula, infant clothes, blankets, and toys. Money donations are appreciated. Please donate new or gently used items. Thank you.
Annual Cub Scout Car Wash Got a Dirty Card? Let the Cub Scouts help you out. Bring your car up to the parking at school on Saturday, May 10 between 9:00 11:00 a.m. and we’ll lend a lot of little hands. Hope to see you there. Proceeds help in planning future Cub Adventures.
WELLNESS
Children who are 2 years and older should switch to reduced-fat milk, yogurt, cheese and other dairy products, since regular dairy has higher amounts of calories, total fat and saturated fat. One percent low-fat milk or yogurt and fat-free (skim) milk contains the same amount of calcium as regular milk, so you will not short-change your kids if you make the switch.
YEARBOOKS FOR SALE
The 2007-08 yearbooks are in! A beautiful hardback book, Making Memories, is filled with pictures of students and teachers from grades pre-school through eighth. If you did not purchase a yearbook in the pre-sale, books are available in the office for a purchase price of $21.00. Please send cash or a check made out to St. Vivian School with your child’s name and homeroom. Thank you to the yearbook student staff and to parent advisors Mrs. Mary Thress and Mrs. Kim Hafele for a job well-done!
