Old Business:

Minutes approved from last meeting.

Nicole Price &endash; Treasury Report - $1371.50 received from Sponsor/Message Ads in Christmas programs. $54 Received from Stocking Stuffer Raffle. A savings account was opened at Fifth Third Bank on December 29 with the amount of $1371.50 being deposited. The raffle money given to Nicole by Jerry Meyer is to be deposited this week.

A very special thank you to the St. Vivian PTA for donating the stocking for the FANS raffle.

Jerry Meyer asked quantity and cost of programs printed for both shows. Nicole Price to confirm quantities and price and give Jerry information at next meeting.

Nicole discussed checking accounts that Fifth Third has available. Free Checking is available since FANS would be considered a non-profit group (i.e. girl scouts, boy scouts) at Fifth Third and not as a business. Nicole to set up checking account with a minimum of a $50 deposit. Nicole to order checks. Comments made that checks could be ordered through Current to save money; however, Jerry Meyer stated if it is easier to obtain checks through Fifth Third due to busy schedule, that would be okay. Checks purchased through Fifth Third cost $16.50 for a box of 200.

Jerry discussed Pepsi Notes Program. Stated that Mary Beth Hoagland did register on time and that a pizza party paid for by FANS is being offered to the class that brings in the highest point total. Jerry Meyer to let Mary Beth know status of point totals per classroom so that Mary Beth can make an announcement to get the kids motivated. Sharon Meyer made the comment that the Christmas packaging that the notes appear on is not being made anymore and supplies seem to be limited. Ann Flick stated that she would place an ad in the bulletin before Super Bowl to remind parishioners to buy Pepsi products to support the school Music program.

The By-Laws and Constitution were approved. Jerry Meyer reminded group that there was a provision for changes when necessary written in the By-Laws and Constitution.

President's Report:

Jerry stated that he introduced the FANS organization to the Parish at the masses on December 30 and December 31. Thirty volunteers signed up to help with FANS and the list would be distributed as needed for various committees or assistance.

Jerry sent letters to Aronoff, Playhouse in the Park, and other Fine Arts venues to get tickets donated and wants to contact restaurants as well. He would like to set up a raffle to include a play and dinner to introduce an evening of Fine Arts/Dining to the Parish. Mary Beth stated that we should include the Showboat Majestic, the Pops and the Cincinnati Art Museum as well. Jerry stated this would be a dual purpose to help out FANS and let them enjoy an evening of Fine Arts.

Jerry asked if we should expand the Temporary Board since we do not meet the criteria of the amount of officers required. (i.e. corresponding secretary). FANS decided that we should just wait until the election in May. If we need assistance we could select people from the Volunteer list. Ann Flick stated she could assist when needed. Sharon Meyer stated she would help by writing thank you notes to the advertisers in the Christmas programs.

New Business:

Ed Pesch and Bill Rice will head the Fund Raising Committee. Jerry Meyer stated he would contact Bill who has prior commitments on Monday nights and cannot meet but would like to assist with FANS. Mr. Rice is the head of the fund raising committee for Roger Bacon High School.

Jim Meyer was appointed to head the Membership Committee. Jerry Meyer to forward a copy of the volunteer list to Jim.

Jerry stated that we should implement a third committee for the Spring Musical to assist Mary Beth. Mary Beth stated that would be a great idea and that once she received her lists of volunteers from the parent letters she distributes she would like to just hand them over. Dave Raffenburg volunteered to head the Spring Musical Committee.

The next fund raising event was discussed, Karaoke Night for adults only. Michelle Frey volunteered to assist and see if the date of February 25 could be scheduled for the Parish Center and cafeteria. Randy stated that he may be in Honduras and would have to check his calendar. Refreshments were discussed as well as a possible babysitting service. Eighth Graders could run the babysitting as a Service Project. Adult volunteers would also assist. Admission fee for karaoke and babysitting were discussed but not confirmed. Will be discussed further at next meeting.

Mary Beth stated that the Jr. High Choir Trip would have to be set-up for next school year due to funding. She would like to take the Choir to Montreal and there just isn't enough time to raise the funds required.

Randy Kent stated that he is continuing to work on the lighting in the Parish Center. He also stated that the Finneytown Community Theatre group is looking for a home to put on musicals. This will be discussed further at next month's meeting.

The FANS group will meet every third Monday of the month. The February meetings are scheduled for February 5th and February 19th at 7:00 in the Faculty Lounge. Jerry Meyer to reserve room. The dates of March 19th, April 16th, and May 21st have not yet been confirmed.

Closing Prayer: Jerry Meyer
