Nothing to report. Mike will make sure Faculty Lounge is booked for FANS in the future

 

Membership:

At this time we have 102 paid families. Sharon requests we get --I addresses Air all members so we can keep them up to date on all FANS activities. Mike suggested a note on Quicklets to thank new members for joining.

 

Old Business:

Brenda wanted to know if we want to go ahead with Ange Berkbead's music as a fund miser. Sharon suggested an evening of music including Ange and a few other Christian artists, making a evening of ti. Thinking is that spring would be a good time Brenda will chair, Amy will co-chair.

Brenda has Polar Tec blankets, wondering if we want to sell with St. Vivian logo on them. Do we want to share with Boosters split profits. Brenda to check with Tom Schnur to see if they are interested. Randy suggests it be a joint venture and money designated to purchase something for the Parish to benefit all. Will proceed after Brenda talks to Boosters.

Friday Night Flicks K - 3, 70 kids attended. Need more helpers for next time. Suggested that time be shortened to 6 - 8:30. It was suggested that movie tickets be given to two helpers who gave exceptional help. Motion passed

Halloween Dance was attended by 45 people. Attendance short maybe because of basketball tournament. Jerry suggests we join teams with Boosters and eliminate competition between groups and share profits. Before expenses we made $749.50, approximate expenses were $250.00. Suggested that we advertise on the marquee and from the pulpit.

Theresa suggested that we start to utilize the volunteer list to get more volunteers for our activities. Randy is going to go to Boosters meeting to see if they will set our date aside for next year and not schedule basketball tournament. And to see if they will co-chair with us. Mike to schedule dance for next year on the 1st of November.

Art classes were canceled for October due to lack of interest.

Mighty Ducks will give all students at St. Vivian a free ticket for the game on the 17th of November. Mike will get info put on Quicklets. The rest of the tickets will be sold for $10.00.

New date for Christmas program. K - 5 will be on the 12th of December. December 17' will be the Concert Choir, Band and String. The Concert Choir will sing at the mall on December 9th. Our program will be done in-house this year. Mary Beth is hoping to do Fiddler On The Roof for the spring program. Talk of auditions, pre-sell tickets. Motion passed to allow $450 to order materials to get started.

Cross Town Shoot-out is on December 7th. FANS will watch kids.

Spaghetti Dinner will be on January 31st, closing out Catholic Schools Week. Liz will chair the event.

 

No new business at this time.
