Secretary Report:

Minutes gone over and approved.

In future, minutes to be sent to Brenda and she will forward to Board Members and School Principal, Tom Bove to put on St. Vivian web site. Also to post on bulletin board in hallway at school.

Treasurer Report:

Checking: $3,684.88

Savings: $877.20

Marybeth turned in money for Choir and FANS. Nicole to tabulate and record separately.

Old Business:

By-Laws were amended by Brenda to reflect the change in dues from $10.00 to $12.00. Revised By-Laws passed out to Board Members.

After school Art Classes- Anne Flick is working on trying to find a teacher and is hoping to get classes started the first of the year.

Grants are still being researched. Randy Kent compiled an estimate for a sound system of $11,600. He will work with Bill Rice on the Grants.

Julifs is postponed at the moment.

Sharon is still working on Wakin' Up The Music.

Concert Choir trip- A trip out of state is discouraged at this time. Marybeth is looking into Choral Festivals within the state and will meet with the principal and narrow down some possibilities and bring info to next meeting. Marybeth will follow up on students who have not paid Choral costs as to whether a scholarship is needed.

Halloween Dance plans coming along nicely with great support and ideas for a grand night. Cost for singles dropped from $20.00 to $15.00.

New Business:

Marybeth received info on an organization called "Connections" There is a $1,600 grant available. She will research further and report at the next

meeting. She will also check into doing Pepsi points again this year.

Marybeth felt accompanist for plays and concerts should be paid. All agreed.

Nicole will undertake being program director for Christmas Plays. 

Marybeth needs $500 to cover cost of music sheets for Christmas Play until she can be reimbursed from the school. Board agreed.

Brenda has a fund raising idea of selling FANS window stickers. She will look into and report later. Marybeth also has idea of doing a road rally/scavenger hunt. Will research the idea.
