Sharon, Jim and Jerry Meyer will take care of collecting tickets and money at the gate that night. Caitlyn Makuda will choreograph a routine for some Jr. high students to perform at the dance as she has in past years. It was suggested that Mike include in the ads that tickets can be purchased at the door the night of the dance.
Music Director's Report:
Mary Beth asked the Board to vote on whether or not FANS would provide scholarships to a few students who wanted to participate in some of our music programs but weren't able to pay the fee. The Board unanimously agreed to provide the funds. There were only two new band members this year. Mary Beth would like to find ways to attract more children to that program. Mary Beth asked if FANS would consider leasing a string bass that would be kept at St. Vivian so the student who plays that instrument wouldn't have to lug hers to and from school. The idea was favorably received and will be investigated further.
