Old/New Business:

Mary Kent introduced our new music teacher, Mr. Bill Hofbauer. The F.A.N.S. board welcomed Mr. Hofbauer. Bill told us about himself, his career and his musical background. He expressed his excitement about his new position as our music instructor and some of his plans for the kids. Welcome Mr. Hofbauer!

August 26th - Parish Picnic - needed and obtained volunteers to help Randy Kent to set up games. Sally Veatch asked him to help in this effort.

 September 17th - Friday Night Flicks - needed and obtained volunteers for set-up, monitoring and clean-up/set-up.

September 18th - Fall Craft Show 10.00a.m. - 3.00p.m. Joan Gory is coordinating the event. Workers recruited for Friday night set-up (after Friday Night Flicks), Saturday early shift by 8:00a.m. and clean-up. Gym must be cleaned up by 4:30p.m. 7th grade confirmation hours are available for these services. Food service volunteers - Schumates, Lackers, Peggy Heis and McGorons.

Joan Gory asked if we could have a spring craft show in March or April 2005. She would prefer April16th. Someone is checking the parish calendar.

Joan is seeking donations for the craft show raffle table. Any thoughts or donations please see her as soon as possible.

F.A.N.S. board volunteered to make baked goods for the craft show. An announcement asking for more bakers was going to be sent out on Quicklets. Thanks Joan, for all your hard work and support!

Randy Kent is researching "Choral Risers" for F.A.N.S. It was discussed that we need them. Mr. Hofbauer would like to be involved in the selection process.

F.A.N.S. board discussed and selected a goodbye gift for Mrs. Khamis. The gift certificate to the Arnoff Arts Center was voted on and unanimously approved by the board. Theresa McGoron will pick it up and we will give it to her at the going away get together.

Farewell Party for Ms. Khamis will be held on Thursday, August 19th, 2004 from 7:00-10:00p.m. at North Hills Swim Club. Michelle Frey and Polly Lacker are coordinating food and drinks. Please bring your Disney pictures to share. Mike Royal has graciously agreed to D.J. that evening. Thank you, Mike!
