Checking account balance as of 4/19/04: $4,077.29

Tim McManus educated the Board on the program of development that is being implemented in our Parish through a video presentation "Ripples in the Pond". It was very informative and inspired some thought provoking questions and discussion.

Music Director's Report:

Everything is going well for our production of "The Music Man", but help is still needed in several areas.

If you know anyone who would be interested in helping out, please contact Mary Beth.

Old/New Business:

The Spring Craft Show went very well. FANS made a profit of over $1300! Thanks to everyone who volunteered for the set up and take down for this event.

FANS would like to recognize the generosity of Joey Meyer, who selflessness resulted in a $100 donation to FANS. Recently, Joey did a job for someone but refused payment for the work. When the person insisted, he asked that a donation be made to FANS instead. Thank you, Joey!

Kim Neltner raised her concern that Art is not adequately represented in the FANS agenda. Members of the Board spoke of past attempts to chair Art programs, but outside response to these events was very limited. Kim would like to take on this challenge and try to make this area of FANS more productive in the future.

Volunteers are needed to set up for the Jr. High night on 4/24/04. Mary and Randy Kent, Theresa McGoron, and Brenda and Mike Gallagher have volunteered to be chaperones for this event.

The Board unanimously voted to offer scholarships to Kathy Raffenberg and Mary Beth Khamis to attend the Strings Teachers' Conference this July.
