Music Director's Report :

Auditions for the Variety Show will take place on 4/26 from 2:30 - 5 pm in 5 minute slots. The Variety Show will take place on 5-17-05. There will be a Spring Concert on May 26th for Strings, Concert Choir and Band. There was a unanimous vote in favor of paying the Strings seminar fees of $625 for Mary Beth Khamis and Bill Hofbauer. They will be responsible for their own room and board.

Old/New Business :

a) Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make the Craft Show a success, especially Joan Gory who chaired the event, Theresa McGoron who was in charge of the food, and the student volunteers who helped set up, assisted crafters before and after the show and helped clean up.

b) The deadline for interested 8th grade students to apply for the FANS Bravo! Award is 5-2-05. The scholarship committee is made up of Mrs. Margello, Mrs. Daubenmerkl, Mrs. Saylor,

Mrs. Stephen, Mr. Hofbauer and Theresa McGoron. The recipients of this award will be announced at Graduation.

c) Randy will get the painted tile fired to be displayed to encourage Parish participation in the "tile wall" being sponsored by FANS and organized by Kim Neltner. A tentative date for interested families to paint their tiles is on 5-18 from 7:30-9pm. It was suggested that tiles be made available for purchase at the Parish Picnic and at a Free Spirits meeting to encourage participation by a larger spectrum of the Parish population.

d) By request of the Board, Randy has been in contact with several Parishioners who are interested in assuming responsibility of the multi-media set-up that Randy proposed at the prior meeting. It was also suggested that we reduce the number of computers to be purchased from 4 to 2, reducing the cost by half. It's being considered.

e) Randy suggested purchasing an iboom, rather than a standard cd player. It would offer a much larger range of uses. He will try to get a definite price on the set up by the next meeting.

Motion to adjourn at 8:52 pm by Michelle Frey, seconded by Theresa McGoron.

Next meeting scheduled - Monday, May 16, 2005, 7 pm, Faculty Lounge
