Update on Usher meeting
This item of business was tabled.
Plaque for Preparation of the Gifts
Parishioners are beginning to make use of the plaque. There was a question among the members of the Worship Commission as to how the plaque can be made more visible to those coming into church. A suggestion was made to place the plaque next to the Birthday/Anniversary/Petition book so that everyone can see it upon entering the sanctuary. It was also decided that the plaque be placed in the collection basket after it has been used.
Sanctuary Sound System
The current sanctuary sound system is aging. Recently, the sound system has been experiencing technical difficulties, such as cutting in and out during liturgies…etc. Worship Commission has made one of their goals this year to replace the current sound system. There was a brief discussion around the idea of forming a subcommittee which would begin to determine what type of sound system would best suit the parish sanctuary.
