St. Vivian Parish Pastoral Council Meeting
April 4, 2005
Members Present:
Fr. Paul, John Hadden, Teresa Besl, Kathy Humbert, Dave Nichols, Fran Vanarsdall-Schwartz, Vivian Wagner, Lisa Brackman, Cindy Engelhardt, Star Vondrell, Paul Hess, Amy Hagedorn.
I. The regular meeting was preceded by a question/answer period for potential candidates of the upcoming Parish Pastoral Council and Education Committee Elections.
II. An abbreviated session of the regular meeting convened at 9 p.m.
III. Old Business
a. Parish Survey
Discussion was held to discuss the question: “Is this the correct timing for the parish survey, taking into consideration the scheduled accreditation survey coming for the school during the 05-06 school year?” Fr. Paul had contacted all of the members of the PPC to discuss this question. Following discussion of all concerns it was decided that a survey conducted mid-May using a revised version of the current instrument would not conflict with the school survey in the Fall as this survey is intended for all parishioners and not only school families. The survey committee will meet April 11th to work on these revisions.
VI. Adjournment
Lisa Brackman moved, seconded by Amy Hagedorn to adjourn the meeting. Meeting was closed with a prayer at 9:20.
