Board Meeting Minutes
November 20, 2001
1) WELCOME/OPENING PRAYER
Bridget welcomed everyone. Those in attendance:

2) SECRETARY'S REPORT
Mary Doyle was not present and Martha Siegel was nice enough to take notes for me.
3) TREASURER'S REPORT
Innisbrook has not yet been paid. The amount needed for it will be about $12,000.We have minor expenses this month. PTA paid for one bus this month.
Fran talked to Kathy Rothschild about making a quarterly payment for our obligation to school. A $2500 check will be sent to the business manager quarterly.
4) GENERAL BUSINESS
a) Playground Equipment-Cindy McMahon requested that she be reimbursed for purchases made at the toy and clothing sale in lieu of the money that the other teachers will receive for playground equipment.b) Ceiling fans &endash; Nancy Burke is to be looking into how much the fans and installation would be for the teachers' classrooms.
c) College Funding Seminar &endash; Bridgett is looking into having a speaker from Met-Life for the 3rd-4th week of January.
d) Santa Shop &endash; A list was sent around for volunteers.
e) Christmas Tree- Julie Bergmann and Mrs. Rolfert are to decorate the Christmas tree in the cafeteria.
f) Christmas Ornaments- Sue CaJacob may need to sell the ornaments at weekend masses.
5) NEW BUSINESS
a) Teachers would like to have $300 for the Christmas Party. The amount they had in the pastt is not quite adequate to pay for all of the teachers' dinners.b) Catholic Schools Week &endash; No report.
c) Ice Cream Social-Mary Allgeier will send letters out to Meijer and Kroger to get soda and ice cream for the social. We need entertainment for the social. Kathy suggested the Break Dance Club from St. X, Karen suggested and will look into a unicycle rider, and Michelle suggested looking into the Marionettes that are available from the Public Library.
6) OTHER BUSINESS
a) Bricks for Mrs. Dodd Memorial- Barb Ballinger has not received as many requests as she thought she would. She may send out another flyer that has samples of possible inscriptions. The bricks cannot not be laid until spring, so there is still time for purchasing the bricks.b) Tyson &endash; A letter has been sent home outlining the Tyson labels that could be collected and sent to school or deposited at church.
c) Market Day &endash; Had a $900 profit in November.
7) ADJOURNMENT &endash; The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
