Discussion was held on the number of fundraisers being sponsored by the PTA. Concern was raised that PTA was holding too many. Decided to approach several of the events as more of a social event rather than as a fundraising opportunity.1. St. Vivian has reserved Thursday, March 3rd, at the Colerain Chuck E Cheese from 5-9 pm as a social event. 10% of all sales will be donated to the school. Every child will be given 10 free tokens. This night was chosen since there is no school the next day.2. Playground
Mutual agreement was made that a playground could be investigated. In determining a location, no parking spots or green spots can be lost. Backstop could be removed. Idea was raised that bricks could be sold to raise money. Mike Ward and Chris Monzel will investigate the playground further with Fr. Gebhardt and Parish Council. PTA Board agreed to further investigate the option of installing a playground on the school grounds.
Other Business
A. SurveyBoard is curious as to how Sally Foster went over in relation to previous years using Innisbrook. Amy Grider will include a survey of these items in the PTA Newsletter sent out in February.B. Walk-A-Thon
Question was raised as to whether water bottles should be purchased for the students participating in the walkathon this year. During this discussion, Amy Grider suggested contacting Sam's Club for donations for the event, including water.
