5) PRINCIPAL

Mr. Vance announced that the new computer systems were ordered yesterday. This includes 25 new units with server. They are also planning to do some cabling to tie the computers in the library and the office to the computer lab. The computers should be delivered within the next couple of weeks.

St. Vivian's students were featured in a promo called the Cincinnati All Stars in an issue of All About Kids. The two students featured were, Ann Patterson in sixth grade and Eric Yager-Schweller in third grade.

The enrollment next year is over 400 students. Some grades are already closed such as seventh, second, kindergarten and preschool. Although first grade needs to be talked up since there is only 16 students enrolled for next year. There are approximately 23 new students next year. The budget he has proposed for next year will most likely pass.

Mrs. Dodd was nominated for "Teacher of the Year" sponsored by Sam's Stores.

This year's computer person is donating some of her time and will bill St. Vivian's for the balance. Mr. Vance would like to use the surplus towards new furniture for the computer lab (chairs and tables).

6) OLD BUSINESS

a). Teacher Conference Dinner-Michelle Heyob enjoyed the dinner, as did the other teachers. Thank you note passed around at meeting and a Thank You banner was hung on the wall.

b). Ice Cream Social-will be on Wednesday April 12th in the Parish Activity Center. Chris spoke with Tom Bemmes on Sunday and he will be there at 6:30 to set up. Mary Kent has secured a donation from Kroger's for supplies for the Ice Cream Social and will be also contacting Meijers.

c). Walk-A-Thon-moved to Friday, April 14th. She has a great committee and plenty of help on this event. The music program originally planned for this day was moved to Thursday, April 13th.

d). Track-N-Field-Rhonda Morgan is planning and everything is going well.

e). Graduation-the date was changed to Thursday June 1st. Connie Allen has the photographer scheduled, flowers ordered, caterer contacted and Jeremy Helmes should be able to perform as Disc Jockey.

f). Faculty/Staff Appreciation Dinner-schedules for Wednesday, May 10th at the Grove. Sally passed around a sheet for everyone to choose selections for the dinner. Approximately 80 people will be invited. Mary Hanson made the invitations and Sally will get them out within the next few weeks.

g). New PTA Board Members-Beckie sent out quite a few letters and has only received six "yes" responses. We need more names.
