Good Morning... My name is John Hadden and I am here to briefly discuss something you have been hearing about & seeing over the past few weeks & that is the Grateful Believers program..Between the bulletin announcements & inserts, the Winton Rd street sign, Quicklets, the Parish Action Plan & Prayer Journal which were handed out, and Fr Paul's homilies, I am fairly confident you have heard of Grateful Believers. The goal of this program is to hopefully open our eyes to the wonderful gifts we have here at St Vivian, to deepen our appreciation of our faith home and family, and to cause us to think about how we, as stewards in this St Vivian community, can make the appropriate use of our time, talent, and treasure to further the growth of our parish.

Yes, this is still a stewardship program which is something we have every year. Yes, we do still need your financial contributions which are something we need every year. But this program is so much more because being a good Christian Steward is so much more than money. In the materials that have been shared thus far, you have seen the four principles for being a Christian Steward. Over the next four weeks, you are going to hear more about these concepts during the homilies given and they will also be discussed in the bulletin inserts and Quicklets. In addition, several of your fellow parishioners are going to give witness to Christian Stewardship here at St Vivian by speaking to you before each of the Masses through the end of October. Their words can put a face and voice to the vitality of Christian Stewardship here at St Vivian and it is a blessing that they are willing to share this with us.
