Mark confirmed e-mail addresses of Board. Mark reviewed the Boosters letter that will be included in School Friday Packets.

1. Girls Basketball & Tournament - Dan Valerio and Brian Hoffman:
Paperwork submitted to CYO for 7 teams: 3rd, two 4th, 5th, two 6th, 8th. There is no 7th grade team - no one registered.
6th grade has 12 registrations, going with two teams. Played with the same two small teams in 2005.
2. Boys Football Steve Crawford
37 Varsity Players, 22 Reserve Players
4 home dates - 3 at Finneytown HS and 1 at Roger Bacon HS.
The Friday before the game at Roger Bacon will be St. Vivian Night at the RB football game.
Punt/Pass/Kick will be dropped. Thank you to David Phillippi for his leadership to try this activity. It was not receiving enough interest among St. Vivian potential participants and there is not strong continuing organizing leadership.

1. Policy on How to recognize 8th graders for their last home game in their respective sports
Rob Wilking will work on a proposal over the summer. Rob was not available in August, will carry to September.
H. New Business:
1. Punt/Pass/Kick: See Football Report
2. Confirm Commissioners for the year: Brian Hoffman will handle signups for Girls Softball. Will need to see who will run the actual season after seeing which grades have teams. Commissioner roles for Girls Volleyball and Track still open
3. No special projects identified for the 2006/2007 year.
4. Spirit Wear: Robin Totsch addressed the Board. Original topic was to alert the Board that her inventory of surplus Spirit Wear is low, and to ask if the Board wanted to fund Spirit Wear for things like Walk-a-thon donations. This led to discussion of just how Spirit Wear came to be affiliated with Boosters. Spirit Wear is actually School Wear with the St. Vivian logo. Some years ago Boosters were asked to handle Spirit Wear to sponsor the production of custom St. Vivian logo Spirit Wear and to provide an organization for payments to flow through. Today there are 3rd party companies who are authorized by the Principal to sell Spirit Wear directly to families, so fewer items are being ordered through Robin Totsch. Robin estimates this may be the last year there is a need for a Spirit Wear coordinator. A proposal was approved 6-0 to sponsor Spirit Wear only through the remainder of the 2006-2007 School Year. Also, with no future affiliation with Spirit Wear, Boosters would no longer be involved with donations of Spirit Wear to other Parish/School functions.
