F. Reports from Sport Commissioners:
1. Girls Basketball & Tournament - Dan Valerio and Brian Hoffman
Dan is looking into hosting the tournament during the first three weekends in October.
Commissioner's meeting is scheduled in May
Sign-up for Fall sports to take place either the end of this month or next month. Dan will contact Steve Crawford to get alignment.
Discussion around sports fees for Fall sports. The board agreed to freeze the participation fees for all sports for the 2006/07 sport season.
A proposal was made to set a policy to have outside schools Booster programs write the check for participation fees. The St. Vivian Booster organization did not want to act as a collection agency for these fees.
Motion passed 6-0 to implement policy
Discussions started about PPK. Further discussions will take place when Dave Phillppi is present.
Girls basketball uniforms are in bad shape. To replace uniforms for the whole program is roughly $2500.00
Dan will get some pricing and follow-up after sign-ups.
2. Boys Football - Steve Crawford & David Phillippi (PP&K)
Coaching staff is set for both teams this year.
Steve has access to shoulder pads that were purchased by a youth team that has since folded. He can purchase the $50 pads for $15.
Steve is anticipating 40 players on the Varsity roster next season. 15 additional uniforms will need to be purchased.
Possibility of 4 home games next season.
3. Boys Basketball - Jim Haverland
Banquet was held Saturday night April 1st. Nothing else to report
4. Girls Volleyball - Beth Hurd
Awards night is Sunday April 23rd from 6:00 - 8:00 PM
8th grade won league 82
5th grade won the CYO small school tournament
3rd grade won the under 500 tournament
5. Track - Dan Valerio
10 male students running with Assumption,
6. Baseball - Matt Hagen
3rd grade team is 0-1
4th/5th grade team is 1 - 0 -1
7th grade team is 2 - 0
St. Bart's has graciously lent us their ball fields to play our games when our field were unplayable due to weather.
7. Boys Volleyball - Joan Eckart
Fran Vanarsdall Schwartz has volunteered to run concessions during home games.

Ursuline Academy donated game balls
Possible conflict with CYO playoff and 8th grade retreat.

The boosters continue to explore options for making a donation in memory of Joe Zins. Dan will follow-up with Jean Margello.

Current board members review Brian Frey's list to identify potential candidates.
7. Upgrading Activity Center Floor
Mark did not have an opportunity to meet with the School/Parish administration. He will follow up with them tomorrow. (4/4)
The next step is to seek a formal bid from Cincinnati Floor and then seek competitive bids.
Golf outing discussed as a potential fundraiser to supplement the gym floor.
Initial bid for upgrading the gym floor to the Pulastic 2000 type floor is $55,000.
Mark will draft a letter suitable for Quicklets to inform the masses of the status of the gym floor.
8. Booster Constitution Change
Information is being disseminated. It will be posted on the Booster web page. Vote will take place May 8th.
H. New Business:
1. Policy on How to recognize 8th graders for their last home game in their respective sports
Rob will draft a proposal on how to recognize 8th graders.
2. Dan Valerio will draft a thank you letter to the Hollman's for their time and effort during the 2006 fish fry's.
