Children's Liturgy
Children's Liturgy of the Word is for children ages 4 to 10 years old. It is held during the school year at the 11 AM Sunday mass and depends on the availability of the volunteers.
Children and their families come to mass as usual. A banner is processed into church at the beginning of mass to help families know there will be children's Liturgy of the Word. The children will be called forward to receive a blessing from Father and will then exit church with their leaders through the "L" to the St. Francis room. We continue the liturgy with readings for the specific Sunday. We will also sing and pray and discuss Jesus' teachings for young children to understand. The children will return to mass at the Preparation of the Gifts to continue the celebration with their families. There is no cost or registration.
